Eid is an important celebration for Muslims around the world and a significant part of Leicester's cultural calendar. The city is home to a large and diverse Muslim community, with Eid bringing families, friends and communities together.
Muslims celebrate two Eids each year. Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, while Eid al-Adha takes place later in the year. Both are celebrated through prayer, spending time with loved ones, sharing food and giving to those in need.
