Highcross FAQ’s
1- What are the opening hours of the car park?
- John Lewis Car Park- 24/7.
- Rooftop Car Park- 24/7.
2- Can I pre-book my parking?
There is currently no pre-booking on offer at Highcross. The best option for you would be to sign up to our All Day Parking offer. This then means you will be charged £3 for up to 2 hours, £5 for up to 12 hours & £10 for anything over 12 hours up until midnight.
3- What happens if I am subscribed and spend more than 12 hours in the car park?
As long as you leave before midnight you will be charged £10. If you stay beyond midnight the tariff refreshes and you will be charged according to the overall length of your stay.
4- What happens if I am subscribed and spend less than 2 hours in the car park?
For stays of 0-2 hours in the car park you will be charged £3.00.
5- Can I use my subscription at both of the car parks?
Yes, your subscription will work at both car parks.
6- What is the height restriction of the car parks?
- John Lewis Car Park- 1.98m
- Rooftop Car Park- 1.98m
7- Can I park in the car parks for more than 24 hours?
Yes, you can park in the car park for as long as you like. The tariffs will simply reset every 24 hours from when you enter. If you wish to park for longer than 5 consecutive days, please contact us to let us know.
8- I am trying to subscribe for the All Day Parking but I can only subscribe for 120 months?
The subscription is for 120 months which is to help our frequent users by making sure they do not need to continuously subscribe. For our standard subscription it is pay per use with no other charges on top of them and you can cancel your subscription anytime you like.
9- I have subscribed to the All Day Parking product, what do I do now?
Everything is automatic now you are registered. The barriers should raise upon entry and exit as the ANPR system will read your registration plate, and there is no need to pay at the machine when you are ready to leave as you will be charged each time you use the car park automatically upon exit straight to the card you nominated at registration.
10- How do I get receipts for my parking?
- Login to your account
- Click on subscriptions on the left hand menu
- Click view on your current subscription
- Click on payments on your current subscription
- This should open a menu of all transactions
- Click download on the receipts you need
11- How can I update my vehicle registration on my subscription?
- Login to your online account
- On the left hand side of your dashboard click on ‘subscriptions’
- Click ‘view’ on the relevant subscription
- Scroll down to the ‘identification’ section and click ‘add license plate’
- Select ‘new’ and input your vehicle registration before clicking ‘add’
- Once the new registration is there you can delete the old one by clicking the trash can icon
12- How can I update my payment method on my subscription?
- Login to your online account
- Click ‘see all’ on the payment methods
- Click ‘add payment method’ in the top right
- Add your card details. At this point a £0.10 preauthorisation fee will be debited and immediately refunded.
- Once added click the small circle at the bottom left under your payment method to make it your preferred payment method. A black dot will appear in the circle when done.
13- My payment failed on my previous visit and my subscription is blocked. How can I get it unblocked?
- Login to your account
- Select the subscriptions page from the menu on the left hand side
- Once on the Subscription page select “View” on your existing subscription
- On the page for that subscription select “Payments”
- Any transaction outstanding will have display as “Unpaid” and have the “Pay Now” option available.
- From here they can update existing card details by selecting replace or if already updated select the “PAY NOW” Option. By using replace this will automatically assign the payment card to the existing subscription.
- Once paid the Transaction will move to a PAID state.
- At this point it is recommend the user goes to “Payment Methods” and either removes their old card or specifies the new card as their preferred payment method.
14- Can I park multiple times a day for the advertised price?
No, the All Day Parking price is for a single entry & exit. If you leave the car park and re enter a new transaction will open.
