About HADO: Augmented Reality Sport
Experience HADO at Highcross
Ready to try something completely different?
HADO is coming to Highcross, bringing the fast-growing augmented reality sport to a European shopping centre for the first time.
Originating in Japan and now played in more than 40 countries and regions around the world, HADO combines physical movement, gaming and augmented reality to create an experience unlike traditional sports or video games.
Using a head-mounted display and arm sensor, you'll step into a real-world arena where you can launch virtual energy balls, create shields, dodge attacks and take on your opponents. It's easy to pick up, but with teamwork, movement and strategy all coming into play, there's plenty to master.
Whether you're a gamer, a sports fan or just fancy trying something new, HADO is open to everyone aged 6 and over. The experience is designed to be inclusive and accessible, with players of different abilities able to get involved and enjoy the action.
Games are short and fast-paced, with between one and six players able to take part depending on the game.
There will be two different ways to play, including the main HADO Arena and HADO Monster Battle, a smaller experience where players take on augmented reality monsters.
Best of all, it's completely free to take part, with no booking required.
