We love the Caribbean! It’s not just the blue seas, endless sun, perfect beaches and palm trees (although all of that helps), it’s also the diversity of Island life. We love the different personalities, cultures and charm, not to mention the distinctive tastes and cuisines that can be discovered on each of the islands here.

Most of all though, it’s the people who make the Caribbean the friendliest part of the world. It’s impossible not to fall for the talking, chilling, dancing and smiling.

Music and laughter create the rhythm of island life. Whether you’re listening to reggae, Kingston ska, magical Marley, teenage rapping or even Rihanna and her Umbrella, it’s impossible to stay still or too serious for long. Catch a yellow bus in Barbados and “Ride da Riddim”.

In the Caribbean, hanging-out leads to friendships, friendships turn into families, and families are the heart of life here. It’s no coincidence that lots of Caribbean cooking is based on sharing. This can be anything from swapping ‘Cutters’ at the bar, to sipping a cocktail with a friend, or joining a whole group of people to tuck into one pot dishes. At the end of the day, it’s all about sharing the good times with your favourite people.
