Derbion Bodycare 22

Bodycare just had a Major glow-up

Following the incredible response to its first next-generation Studio Store in Sheffield and the opening of its second location in Derby, Bodycare has opened the doors to its latest Studio Store at Highcross Leicester on Saturday 5 September.

And there couldn’t be a more fitting city for Bodycare’s next chapter.

Located on the Lower Mall at Highcross, next to Spirit Crystals and Schuh, the new Studio Store brings together the value Bodycare is known for with a completely new retail experience built around discovery, creativity and community.

But this is much more than a shop.

At the heart of the Leicester Studio Store will be a free-to-use Creator Studio, giving local creators, influencers, charities, schools, clubs and community groups a professional space to create, collaborate and share their stories.

It is part of Bodycare’s ambition to make its new Studio Stores destinations for the communities they serve, places where people can shop, discover, create and connect.

Customers will book piercing, delivered by a medical professional, receive expert skincare advice and discover the expanded beauty department, including the ever-popular Technic cosmetics range, alongside Bodycare’s extensive range of affordable beauty, wide range of K-Beauty, health and everyday essentials.

Its first next-generation Studio Store in Sheffield attracted thousands of shoppers, with customer numbers continuing to exceed expectations. The Derby store followed, and Leicester now becomes the third location in Bodycare’s ambitious programme of new stores across the UK.

Charles Denton, CEO of Bodycare, said: “The welcome we’ve received since bringing Bodycare back to the high street has been incredible, and we’re absolutely delighted to be bringing our next-generation Studio Store to Leicester.

“Leicester is a city with a huge sense of identity, community and creativity, exactly the qualities we want to build into our new stores.

“The Creator Studio gives local people and organisations a place to create, connect and have their voices heard, while our customers can discover great value, new experiences and the brands they know and love.”

Michelle Menezes, Centre Director at Highcross Leicester, added:

“We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Bodycare back to Highcross. In the build up to its return, we’ve seen just how much Leicester truly loves this brand, thanks to its affordable health and beauty products making it no surprise that the city ranked third among a list of 50 prospective locations for the brand to return to, as voted for by shoppers around the UK.

“Fans of the brand will notice a new offering in its ‘Bodycare Studio’ concept made up of creator spaces and live broadcast zones that reflect exactly where high-street retail is heading and the direction of travel we’re hoping to take the centre in. What makes this homecoming even more special though, is that we’re welcoming back some familiar faces to the store team from Bodycare’s previous time with us. It’s a real full-circle moment for us all, and we wish them the very best success!”

Whether you want to discover the new Bodycare Studio Store, try out the Creator Studio, explore the expanded beauty range, book a piercing, pick up your everyday essentials or simply see what all the excitement is about everyone is invited.

Bodycare is inviting people from across Leicester and the surrounding area to come along, experience the new Studio Store and help celebrate the brand’s return to the city.

With further openings planned across the UK, Bodycare is bringing its new combination of value, innovation, discovery and community to even more towns and cities.
